Hello!
My name is Julia Finke
I started singing before I even knew how to talk. Anytime my parents drove past a McDonald's, I'd start humming "ba da ba ba baaaa" from my car seat. They took this as a sign to enroll me in community theatre classes, and I've been singing, dancing, and acting since I was 5 years old. My childhood love turned into my life's passion when I started studying Theatre at The Governor's for the Arts in Norfolk, VA. In my three years I acted in 10 plays, directed 2 pieces, and studied everything from Suzuki to Shakespeare.
I continued my training at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, the oldest theatre program in the country. I graduated with highest honors in May 2024 with a double major in Dramatic Art and Film Studies and a minor in Musical Theatre Performance. I spent my time at Carolina deepening my understanding for the theatre while expanding my theatrical abilities into
